Someone Believes In Your Business and You!
Hello!
I want you to remember an especially trying time in your life. Usually here at BE
THERE Magazine, we focus on the positive and the future. However, just for a few moments, let your mind take you back to a
time of struggle and strife...where you needed help.
Can you recall a
desperate situation when someone reached down a strong hand and arm for you to hold?
It could have been a financial gift, a gift of time, or even a material gift...but they had something you seriously
needed to survive, and lo and behold, you received what you needed. Someone one gave to you out of their own supply...simply
because they cared.
Remember how your body felt when the situation eased
you found you could breathe again? Could you feel again, when the paralyzing fear gave in to sweet peace? How
about the moment the dreaded knots in your stomach untied
and food tasted sweet?
How did you thank your benefactor? Did you shake
his hand, hug her neck, cry, shake your head or collapse in relief? Were you speechless?
Gratitude for liberation can sometimes be difficult to express.
One of the best,
most lasting ways to express thankfulness is to give back what you have received. Helping someone else with the same help
you received is a precious, priceless act.
I challenge you to actively look
around for someone with fingernails torn as they cling to life. Someone who is barely making his or her life work needs you...needs
an offering of help. They need encouragement, support, advice or guidance. You still remember what it feels like to
be right there in the midst of despair. As you will recall, the assurance of help is the greatest knowledge a person can give.
I challenge you
to make it a point to give back to others. Wherever you are successful, offer your success to others.
For me, I have seen woman experience Domestic Violence, lived through the tragedy of a bad relationship
, so I relate well as a Prince George's County Police Officer to women in bad relationships. I offer solace to woman by giving
information . I know that one can survive a bad relationship you, don't always have to die! Finally, more than once, I've
been given business ads dollars to support women when they definitely needed an escape from violence. Now, I look forward
to paying for someone else's unexpected journey.
No matter how you
decide to "pay back", remember you cannot out-give the Universe. You can have tons of fun trying...yet the Universe
will always continue to give again and again.
Together, giving back and forth
- together you and I can each live the life we desire.
Yes, together we
can change our world!! Through each season of life, I want you to live with the life-changing knowledge that…
